Shehu Idris (20 February – 20 September ) was a Nigerian royal.

He was the 18th Fulani Emir of Zazzau and the Chairman of Zazzau Emirate Council and Kaduna State Emirate Council from until his death. He became emir on 08 February following the death of Alhaji Muhammadu Aminu, the 17th Emir of Zazzau.[1][2] He was born in Zaria, Nigeria.

On 10 January he celebrated his 40 years coronation anniversary,[3] and 8 February , he celebrated his 45 years coronation anniversary.[4]

Death

Idris died 20 September at the age of 84 at a military hospital in Zaria.[5][6][7][8][9]
