CRAIG SOLOMON is the Executive Director at Wesley Child Care Center.  Craig holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Psychology from National-Louis University. Craig brings over three decades of relevant experience from both the public and private sectors of education.

He previously held a senior level administrative/management position with the Chicago Public Schools as Assistant to the Board of Trustees and was also Senior Vice-President of a private consulting firm specializing in the education sector focused clients.   

Craig first began his career with Wesley Child Care in working in the school-age programs and from he served as the Multi-Site School Age Program Director. Craig rejoined Wesley Child Care in April of as Executive Director to serve Wesley families and the community.  

Craig actively represents Wesley Child Care Center on various community committees including:

MELISSA MEHLE

She joined Wesley in  starting out as a part-time preschool teacher and part time Accounting Coordinator. Missy began working as the full time Accounting Coordinator in  Missy graduated from Elmhurst College in with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Before working at Wesley Child Care Center, Missy worked at a licensed child care center tor 13 years as a teacher and director.

JEANNE HARMAN
is the Preschool Program Director at Wesley Child Care Center.

Jeanne holds a Bachelors of Arts in Child Development with a minor in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Jeanne has been an Administrator with Wesley since Jeanne began in as the School-Age Program Director.

    • In Jeanne became the Preschool Program Director. Jeanne’s previous experiences include working as a Child Life Specialist at Lurie Children’s Hospital and being an Administrator of other Early Childhood Programs and Summer Camps. Jeanne has successfully lead Wesley through several NAEYC Accreditations. NAEYC – The National Association for the Education of Young Children is a formal recognition of attainment of high standards of quality childcare and is a voluntary effort.

    Wesley was one of the first centers in the state to accomplish and maintain this attainment. Jeanne also leads the program in acquiring and maintaining Gold Level of Quality given by ExceleRate Illinois a statewide quality recognition and improvement system dedicated to making continuous quality improvements an everyday priority among early childhood providers.

    Jeanne holds a Level 5 Gateways credential for Early Childhood and a Level 2 Director credential.

    DANIELLE FRANZESE 
    is Assistant Director at Wesley.

    Biography on child care assistant job description She started as an assistant teacher during her senior year of high school. Her maturity, caring spirit, and life experiences are what drew her to this career at such a young age. Her background studies are criminal justice, special education, and numerous hours of early childhood trainings.

    Danielle joined the Wesley Administrative Team in   Danielle holds her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University.  Danielle comes to Wesley with several years of both teaching and administrative experiences.  Danielle holds a Level 5 Gateways Early Childhood Credential and a Level 2 Director credential from Gateways.

    Darcy Kelly is a Teacher at Wesley.

    Darcy has been with Wesley since   Darcy holds an Associate’s Degree as well as several certificates in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community College.  Darcy holds a Level 4 Gateways credential for Early Childhood and a Level 4 credential for Infants and Toddlers.

    VIOLET PETER
    Violet Peter has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Oakton Community College.  Violet holds a level 4 ECE credential and a level 4 infant toddler credential Ms.

    DANA FIGUERAS
    Dana Figueras has been a lead teacher in the Early Childhood classroom setting for over 5 years.  Dana has her Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood from Sierra College. . She holds a Level 4 Early Childhood Credential from Gateways.

    EMILY PHILLIPS    
    Emily Phillips is an Assistant Teacher in our three year old classroom.  Emily has her Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Oakton Community College. Emily has her level 4 Gateways credential in Early Childhood. 

    TERESA KUBICZ  
    Teresa Kubicz oined Wesley as a Preschool Teacher in She has several years of experience working as a Teacher in the Early Childhood field.  Teresa has her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University.  Teresa has a level 5 Gateways credential.  

    LINDA HOTH
    Linda Hoth is a teacher in the Wesley Preschool Program.

    Linda was previously a Wesley Kindergarten Enrichment teacher and has been with Wesley since   Linda Holds an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakton Community. 

    JULIA KLEMM
    Julia Klemm began in and is a Teacher in the Pre-Kindergarten classroom.   Julia has her Associates Degree from Harper College and is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree In Early Childhood Education from Northeastern University.

    COLLEEN HEILWAGEN   
    Colleen joined Wesley's Preschool program in   She retired from Glenview School District 34 after 20 years as a teacher.  She has a Master Degree in Education from DePaul University. Colleen holds a level 3 Gateways Credential.

    DIANA RUGGLES
    Diana rejoined Wesley in as a Teacher in the Preschool program.

    Diana holds an Associate's Degree of Arts from the College of Lake County  and is currently working to achieve her Advanced Administration Early Childhood Certificate from Oakton Community College.  Diana holds a level 3 Gateways Credential.

    SHABANA HOODA   
    Shabana rejoined Wesley Preschool in Shabana first joined the Preschool in and was a Teacher Assistant until She has an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts with 18 hours in Early Childhood Education. Shabana holds a level 2 Gateways Credential.

    GRACIE PERRICONE  
    Gracie joined Wesley in   Gracie is a Teacher Assistant in the Preschool Program.  She is pursuing her Associate Degree in Early Childhood from Harper Community College.

    Gracie has her Certification in Food Service Management.   

    CHRISTINA PETER     
    Christina is an Assistant Teacher at Wesley's Preschool program.  She began part time in and started full time   She has her Master and Bachelor Degree in Music Performance from Eastern Illinois University.

    Christina is pursuing an additional Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Oakton Community College.

    MIA SZAFRANIEC
    Mia joined Wesley in and is an Assistant Teacher.  Mia is pursuing her Early Childhood Education at Oakton Community College.
