Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana (Tagalog:[ˈkaɾlɐʔabɛlˈjanɐ]; born June 12, )[1] is a Filipino actress.
She played the lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda, and is also known for other leading roles in Sine Novela: Basahang Ginto (), Kung Aagawin Mo Ang Langit (), Makapiling Kang Muli (), My Husband's Lover (), My Destiny (), Because of You (), Mulawin vs. Ravena, I Heart Davao (), Pamilya Roces (), Love of My Life (), Stolen Life () and Widows' War ().
Her accolades includes 2x Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series in Golden Screen Awards for Television, [2] 2x Best Drama Actress Award in PMPC Star Awards for Television [3], including multiple nominations as Best Supporting Actress in PMPC Star Awards for Movies, [4] Best Actress in FAMAS Awards, [5] Best Actress in LUNA Awards [6] and Best Actress in Metro Manila Film Festival.

Carla Angeline Reyes Abellana was born on June 12, ,[12][13] in Manila, Philippines.
Abellana is the daughter of actor Rey "PJ" Abellana and Rea Reyes. Her maternal grandmother is veteran actress, Delia Razon. She graduated cum laude from De La Salle University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.[14][15]
Abellana married actor Tom Rodriguez in October In June , the marriage was dissolved by a United States decree, which was confirmed by the Philippine courts in June [16]
Health
In September , Abellana revealed she suffered hypothyroidism since and was perimenopausal at age [17]She was also diagnosed with kidney stone disease and urinary tract infection.[18]
Career
Abellana began her career modeling for different TV commercials, including CreamSilk Leave-on in and Palmolive Conditioner in (with the appearance of Ricky Reyes).
In , she auditioned for Zorro, but GMA Network instead cast her for the lead role in Rosalinda—a remake of the Mexican telenovela of the same name. In the same year, she subsequently became a model for Bench.[19] In , Abellana had a spread in Philippine Tatler photographed by America's Next Top Model judge Nigel Barker.[20] She also appeared in the Philippine Fashion Week , where she modeled clothes by Michele Sison.[21] She has co-hosted SOP Rules,[citation needed]StarStruck,[22]Party Pilipinas,[23] the cooking show Del Monte Kitchenomics,[24] and Karelasyon, a drama anthology series,[25] as well as hosting several pageants such as Binibining Pilipinas [26] and Miss World Philippines [27] In , she joined Sunday All Stars as a judge.[28]

Third Eye is a Filipino horror film directed by Aloy Adlawan and starring Carla Abellana, Camille Prats, Ejay Falcon and Denise Laurel. It was produced by Regal Entertainment. When Mylene (Carla Abellana) was a young child she witnessed the grisly death of her neighbor and her parents.Her first film under Regal Films was Mamarazzi.[29] Abellana appeared in her first horror film which was an entry to Metro Manila Film Festival, Shake, Rattle & Roll XII.[29] In September , Abellana starred in the Regal Films film My Neighbor's Wife, and by the end of , appeared in two films—both of which were entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival—Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow and Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story.
In , she starred in the ensemble romantic comedy by Jose Javier Reyes Somebody to Love alongside Matteo Guidicelli, and So It's You with JC de Vera and Tom Rodriguez. In , she starred in the film No Boyfriend Since Birth, again with Rodriguez, and was her second film with Reyes.
